What is Wordori?
Wordori is a personal dictionary for the words you want to remember. Look up a word, save it, sort it into lists, and practice it with games. A Word of the Day widget, streaks and achievements keep you coming back.
Is Wordori free?
Yes. The free version lets you save up to 50 words and 5 lists. Wordori Plus raises that to 10,000 words and 100 lists for $2.99 a month or $24.99 a year.
How do I cancel Wordori Plus?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Wordori, then tap Cancel Subscription. Deleting your data or the app doesn't cancel it.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all App Store payments, so refunds go through Apple too. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Do I need an account?
No, you don't need an account. If you subscribe to Wordori Plus, the subscription is linked to your Apple ID, and you can restore it on any device signed in with that Apple ID.
Where do the definitions come from?
Definitions come from Wiktionary, through the Free Dictionary API. You can also add your own definitions and notes to any word.
What games and practice modes are there?
There are three: Flashcards, Wordo and Bookdrop. Each one uses the words you've saved, so you're always practicing your own vocabulary.
Will my words sync between devices?
Yes. Your words, lists and progress sync through iCloud to every iPhone and iPad signed in with the same Apple ID. Make sure iCloud is turned on for Wordori in Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
Does Wordori work offline?
Mostly. Your saved words, lists and games all work without a connection. You need to be online to look up and add new words, since the definitions are downloaded. Any changes you make offline sync to your other devices when you reconnect.
Is Wordori on iPad or Mac?
Wordori works on iPhone and iPad. It isn't available on Mac yet.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, go to Profile and tap Delete All My Data. This permanently removes your words and lists from iCloud and your device.
